INFRASTRUCTURE
At the heart of AKPL operations is its state-of-the-art knitting
unit with a covered area of 25,000 sq. ft. in Gurgaon, about 12
miles from the New Delhi International Airport. The self owned
building has three floors of which the basement is used for storage
of raw material and finished goods. Imported hi-tech machines occupy
the ground floor that is completely used for production purposes
only. The first floor is used as an office block and a show room.
The knitting unit not only complies with all industry norms and
certifications specified by the state but is in fact at par with the
best knitting factories in the world and has 100% power back-up.
